Sajid Nadiadwala Heads To Jodhpur Post Salman Khan’s Verdict, Cancels ‘Baaghi 2’ Success Party

Post Salman Khan’s conviction in blackbuck case, Sajid Nadiadwala cancelled the success party of ‘Baaghi 2’ and headed to Jodhpur. Salman khan and his co-stars of ‘Hum Saath-Saath Hain’-  Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam Kothari were charged under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 but were acquitted in the 20-year-old case due to lack of evidence. whereas Salman khan has been sentenced to five years in jail.

Sajid organised a big part to celebrate the success of ‘Baaghi 2’ as the movie entered in 100 crore club when he learnt about Salman Khan’s verdict, he headed to Jodhpur cancelling the party. So far Baaghi 2 earned  Rs. 104 crore. Sajid and Salman together delivered many hit films like- Jeet, Judwaa, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Kick.There were news that Sajid will be producing Salman’s ‘Kick 2’.

Salman returned to India earlier this week for the blackbuck case verdict. He was busy filming Remo DSouza’s ‘Race 3’ in Abu Dhabi which is scheduled to release is scheduled to hit the screens this Eid. Many are expecting that makers of the film will push the date of release if things didn’t worked in Salman’s favor.

As of for now, tight security has been placed around actor’s cell in Jodhpur jail. His bail plea hearing is scheduled for Friday morning. The actor is likely to appeal against the verdict in the Rajasthan High Court. Chief Judicial Magistrate Dev Kumar Khatri called Salman a ‘habitual offender’ in his verdict. Back in 1998, 2006 and 2007 Salman spent a total of 18 days in the Jodhpur jail for cases of poaching.
