Saif Ali Khan is currently busy with her upcoming film Love Aaj Kal, directed by Imtiaz Ali. In which she is starring opposite “Pyaar Ka Punchnama” fame Kartik Aaryan. Her acting in “Kedarnath” and “Simmba” was performed well at the box office and her acting in both the flicks was also praised by audiences. She’s known to be one of the most promising actresses.
The lead role in the film “Love Aaj Kal” was played by Sara’s father Saif Ali Khan and aside from him, Deepika Padukone and Rishi Kapoor were also seen in prominent roles.
There were news rumours that Saif Ali Khan is going to be a part of the sequel and his role will be based on the lines of Rishi Kapoor’s character of the first part. Now the rumours have been put to rest as Saif himself has made it clear that he is not a part of the sequel of “Love Aaj Kal”.
In an interview with an entertainment website, the actor said, honestly he likes to play every role which is interesting enough and if he has time for it, adding that Imtiaz Ali did offer him a role in the movie.
He further added, it was very nice of the director to consider him for the role but he hasn’t signed the film and the entire buzz about his presence in the sequel is wrong.
Saif Ali Khan has many other projects. He has Sacred Games 2, Period Drama Taanaji, Pawan Kriplani’s horror Bhooth Police, Navdeep Singh’s revenge drama Hunter and Jawaani Jaaneman directed by Nitin Kakkar to work on.
