Plot:
Aditya Shroff (Farhan Akhtar) lives a lonely and self-pity life as he feels that it’s because of him that a person died at a concert. He cuts himself off from all his friends and lives a secluded life. Then it’s Kedar Zaveri/Killer Drummer (Purab Kohli), Joseph “Joe” Mascarenhas (Arjun Rampal) to again come up together to save the life of Aditya. Aditya and his friends find rebellious Jiah Sharma (Shraddha Kapoor) and cast her in his Magik band. The film revolves around the life of these main actors and their life situations with a core connection of music.
Direction, music, and screenplay:
The direction looks amazing by Shujaat Saudagar but still there are few loopholes. The music is astounding but in comparison to Rock On, it is not up to that level. I am already amazed by the brilliant cinematography by Marc Koninckx. In acting, Farhan, Purab Kohli, Arjun Rampal has delivered their best but Shraddha didn’t surprise in a big way. Shashank Arora did his best as a new entry in Rock On 2 group.
The last word:
This flick is for music aficionados and goes for it if you really loved Rock On!!
