Ranvir Shorey and Konkana Sen Sharma are officially divorced; son to be in a joint custody of both
Bollywood actors Ranvir Shorey and Konkana Sen Sharma have officially been granted divorce. As per the reports the couple has called it quits and ended their marriage on August 13, 2020.
A source has revealed about their presence in court for the divorce. “They came and left separately but nevertheless, this is one of the most peaceful divorces that one has seen in a long time. There is absolutely no animosity between the two. Sad of course that they couldn’t reconcile as a couple but who can control destiny?”
Konkana’s lawyer Amruta Sathe Pathak spiel to media saying that all legal proceedings have been completed now. “Yes, Konkona and Ranvir are now divorced. It was done very amicably. It’s not that Ranvir and Konkona didn’t try to remain together, both even underwent detailed counselling – but it just didn’t sort out.”
Ranvir and Konkana married each other in 2010. However, almost five years later in 2015 the two of them separated from each other. It was only in the beginning of the year 2020 that the couple filed for divorce. As per the reports, the couple were extremely cordial to each other and that their 8 years old son Haroon shall be in joint custody of both the parents.
Back in September 2015, Konkana had taken to the social media to announce their separation from each other. “Ranvir and I have mutually decided to separate, but continue to be friends and co-parent our son. Will appreciate your support. Thank you” she wrote.
On the work front, Konkana shall next be seen Alankrita Shrivastava’s Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare alongside Bhumi Pednekar. This film shall release on Netflix on account of the pandemic.
Ranvir was last seen in Lootcase which was a comedy thriller starring Kunal Khemu, Rasika Dugal, Gajraj Rao, Vijay Raaz and others. The film released on Disney+Hotstar on July 31.
