This is the first time, Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor will be seen together in a movie. Arjun Kapoor will be essaying the role of a Madhav Jha, who is a small town guy and falls in love with Riya Somani. Riya Somani character is being played by Shraddha Kapoor. Both the actors need a big hit because their last films were a flop. Shraddha Kapoor’s Ok Jaanu tanked at the box office and even Arjun’s Ki and Ka didn’t fare well.
Helmed by Mohit Suri, the film is based on the novel of Chetan Bhagat of the same name. Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, the film also stars Rhea Chakraborty, Seema Biswas, Vikrant Massey and Felix Shindraj in titular roles. The film is all set to hit the theaters on May 19, 2017.
Overall, Ranveer Singh’s comment was a hilarious one and I am sure that he will definitely promote the movie of Arjun Kapoor!
