After a spectacular performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama Padmaavat. Deepika Padukone is all set to be back on screen with another project Chhapaak, a film based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.
The actress took to Twitter to share the first look of her character named Malti. The movie will go on floors soon and it will be released on January 10, 2020.

Deepika’s husband Ranveer Singh was quick to appreciate the first look of his wife, which is certainly melting several hearts.
Ranveer wrote, “Astonishing! What a remarkable prospect! Proud of you baby! I love you! Go get ‘em!”
Chhapaak will be Deepika’s first film after her wedding. It also marks Deepika’s first film after the blockbuster “Padmaavat”. Chhapaak is co-produced by Deepika.
