Meet Riaan Deshmukh, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza’s bundle of joy. On his father’s 70th birth anniversary, Riteish decided to introduce the world to the apple of his eye.
Riteish aspires to be as loving a father to his son, as his father was to him. Two-time chief minister of Maharashtra, Vilasrao Deshmukh died in 2012 due to multi-organ failure.
Riteish posted, “Happy Birthday PAPPA : the father that you were to me, is what I aspire to be to my son. 70thBirthAnniversasry,” the 37-year-old tweeted. He also shared a picture of his adorable son and wrote, “On my Father’s #70thBirthAnniversary Riaan turns 6 months old.” (sic)
Riaan is Riteish and Genelia’s first child. The couple who tied the knot in 2012 was blessed with a baby boy in November 2014.
