Raees and Kaabil Box Office Report :
The Shah Rukh Khan Starrer crime thriller Raees is witnessing an exceptional run just not only in India but also in overseas market. Till now, this action crime thriller has grossed 107.56 crores (nett. 76.83 crores) at the domestic box office and 38 crores in the international markets. The film now stands with a global total of 145.56 crores at the box office. The film will soon enter the elite club of 100 crore at the domestic market.
The film produced under the banners of Red Chillies Productions and Excel Entertainment, the film stars Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in key roles has been in the controversy for having the Pak beauty in it, however, the settlement with MNS chief Raj Thakreay with SRK has resolved things. Now, talking about the other film Kaabil, let’s check how things have gone so for.
The Sanjay Gupta directed auctioneer Kaabil starring Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam released with Raees seems doing a decent business at the domestic level but talking about the overseas collection, the figures isn’t that appealing. The film whose critic reviews have been positive across the board is expected to open on a good note despite the fact that faces competition from yet another release in the form of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees in the domestic market but not in the global scenario.
In this box office report we take a look at the overseas collections of Kaabil on Day 5 (Sunday). So far the collection of Kaabil in the overseas market has closed up to 18 crores, which is certainly the half as compared to the Crime Thriller Raees having 39 crores. This week however, will witness a meager slowdown of the film for the obvious reasons. The current story of the two films releasing the same day is Raees ruling in the overseas business, which is not the case with Kaabil.
