Raazi tells the story of an Indian spy (Alia Bhatt) who marries a Pakistani man to give information to Indian authorities during the Indo-Pak War of 1971. The movie is based on the novel titled Sehmat by Harinder Sikka, which is inspired by real events. Alia Bhatt is getting huge praise from the audience as well as critics for her honest portrayal of Sehmat Khan.
Raazi took a solid opening with Rs. 7.50 Crore on Friday and shows huge growth on Saturday. Alia Bhatt starrer earned Rs. 11.25 Crore talking Raazi box office collection to Rs. 18.75 Crore. The movie is on course to emerge as a super hit if it continues good hold on Monday. It is also good news for Bollywood, as content and women-oriented movies are doing good business.
