Sonakshi Sinha paired opposite Amit Sadh in ‘Akira’

After being paired with male actors much older than her or more established than her, Sonakshi will now share the screen with the talented Amit Sadh from Kai Po Che in A. Murugadoss’s Akira. And this time, he has a plum role as opposed to that in KPC.

Without revealing too much about his role, Amit said, “Let’s just put it this way — this is my first role where I don’t kill or get killed. It’s my first romantic lead role and I am having a ball shooting with Sonakshi. She is such a chilled-out girl. No airs about herself and so focused on her work.”

A source associated with the film told us that the actor plays much more than just Sonakshi’s toy-boy in the film. When asked about the comment, Amit laughed and said, “Yes, I have a lot more to do in the film. Although I wouldn’t mind being Sonakshi’s toy-boy.”
