Puneet Chhatwal, chief executive officer and managing director of Indian Hotels Company Ltd that operates the Umaid Bhawan Palace recently revealed that Nick and Priyanka’s wedding gave them enough money to survive for three months. He was quoted saying,
“Last year, we had Priyanka Chopra’s wedding in Umaid Bhawan Palace and it makes up for the revenue of 3 months.”
Reportedly, the couple spent the whopping price of $461,000 (over 3.2 crores) only on the venue. The guests were allotted rooms in the palace and the entire palace was closed to the outsiders for good four days.
