The old time hit and classic drama Chandrakanta is making a comeback over the small screen on the TV channel called Life OK. However, this time one can find fresh adaptations of the popular novel, which inspired the TV series of the same name in 1994. The show is produced by Nikhil Sinha, who earlier helmed the much-loved mythological series Siya Ke Ram. The makers have released the promos have hit the screens and the show looks grand. The cast has already begun shooting for the upcoming historical series. The star casts include Kratika Kamraas playing the key role of Chandrakanta while the male lead has with Gaurav Khannain and in the negative role, we have Chandan Anand. The TV show is five days a week, so you do not have to wait that long unlike seen previously for a week to catch the show.
Plot: Unlike the previous show, he story is a romantic fantasy about two lovers who belong to rival kingdoms: the princess Chandrakanta of Vijaygarh, and the prince Virendra Singh of Naugarh. Krur Singh, a member of the Vijaygarh king’s court dreams of marrying Chandrakanta and taking over the throne. When Krur Singh fails in his endeavour, he flees the kingdom and befriends Shivdutt, the powerful neighbouring king of Chunargarh. Krur Singh coaxes Shiv dutt to ensnare Chandrakanta at any cost. Shiv dutt captures Chandrakanta and while running away from Shivdutt, she finds herself a prisoner in tilism. After that Kunvar Virendra Singh breaks the tilism and fights with Shivdutt with the help of ayahs.
