In this flick, Vicky Kaushal is essaying the role of Sanjay’s Buddy of US, Sonam Kapoor will play the role of one of his girlfriend. Apart from that, Manisha Koirala portrays the role of Nargis Dutt and Dia Mirza will be in the shoes of Maanyata Dutt. Here, Sanjay Dutt’s father role will be played by Paresh Rawal. While talking about the role Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani said, “We are targeting a Christmas 2017 release. It’s not a film about guns, drugs and the underworld. It’s a feel-good film about a father-son relationship… A buddy film with Sanju’s many friends adding up to one from the US, played by Vicky Kaushal.”
