‘Phone Bhoot’- Horror Comedy starring Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khattar to hit the floors in 2021

A horror comedy set to be rolled out under Faran Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment, ‘Phone Bhoot’ is the upcoming Bollywood film. The first look of the lead actors involving Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khattar was shared by the actors on the social media. The film makers made the big announcement by sharing a clip of the three actors on Monday, 20th July.

Excel Entertainment posted on their official page, “Darna allowed hai, as long as you’re laughing along the way. #PhoneBhoot, ringing in cinemas near you in 2021,”

Farhan Akhtar took to Twitter to make the announcement, “The one stop shop for all bhoot related problems, #PhoneBhoot ringing in your nearest cinema in 2021”

Gurmeet Singh has explored his directorial skills in the making of Phone Bhoot. The story is written by Ravi Shankaran and Jasvinder Singh Bath. The film was expected to go on the floors by the end of this year. However, due to the Covid-19 crisis, it is scheduled for 2021 release.

Katrina Kaif also shared a clip of behind the scenes of the making photoshoot of Phone Bhoot on her social media account. Here’s what she wrote, “One fine day BTS  ➡️ 📞 👻 #shotbeforelockdown”

The production house Excel Entertainment shall also be rolling out KGF: Chapter 2 and Toofan under their banner soon. Katrina Kaif shall next be seen in Sooryavanshi which is slated for this Diwali release. While Ishaan Khattar shall next appear in the Netflix Original ‘The Suitable Boy’, Siddhant Chatturvedi has Bunty Aur Babli 2 in pipeline.
