Pakistani Star who rose their personality in Bollywood!

The film industry is divided now with the decision of banning Pakistani actors. The decision was taken after the gruesome Uri terror attack in which many soldiers lost their lives. Following the Uri and other terror attacks, political parties demanded a ban of Pakistani artists and were asked to leave the country in 48 hours. Actors including. Actors including Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan and Ali Zafar were asked to leave the country in the given time or they will be pushed out. The ongoing debate has created tension between the two countries-India and Pakistan. We all know Bollywood films are popular all over and many Pakistani stars have worked in the industry till date. We have short-listed few recently popular Pakistani artists who rose to fame in India with Bollywood films. Singer and actor Fawad Khan, who is from Lahore, Pakistan, made his Bollywood debut with the leading role of a prince in the film Khoobsurat opposite Sonam Kapoor. The actor also won Filmfare Award For The Best Debut and since then he has been riding the success ladder in Bollywood. Fawad Khan will also be seen in Karan Johar’s much talked upcoming film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Pakistani actress and former VJ, Mahira Khan is grabbing all the limelight over her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in his upcoming film Raees. Political parties have already demanded from the makers of Raees to chop off Mahira Khan’s role from the film in order to get a smooth release. Like many other Pakistani actors, actor Ali Zafar gained success in Bollywood with the film Tere Bin Laden. Since 2010, he appeared in many Bollywood films including Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Luv Ka The End among others. Pakistani singer Atif Aslam is popular all over and has mesmerized the audience with his singing. The singer stole everyone’s hearts with his song Woh Lamhey from Mahesh Bhatt’s film Zaher. Then, within three years, he recorded over two dozen chartbusters for top Bollywood films. Atif Aslam has also collaborated with many Indian singers for the concerts. Pakistani singer, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, who is known for Qawwali and Sufi songs, has also gained popularity in Bollywood. He sang Bollywood playback in the 90s and debuted as a playback singer in Bollywood with the movie Paap (2003), featuring the hit song, Mann Ki Lagan. Pakistani actress and model Veena Malik received immense popularity in India with her stints on Indian television show Bigg Boss. She has appeared in many Bollywood films and has done few reality shows since then. Pakistani actress and model Somy Ali became popular in India when she was in a relationship with Salman Khan. Born in Pakistan, Somy then shifted to Florida with her brother and mother. She has also done quite a few Bollywood films in 90’s. Pakistani-British actor Alyy Khan has worked in Bollywood, Hollywood, and Lollywood. At the age of 9, the actor shifted to India with his family and is currently living in London, Pakistan, and Kolkata. He has been seen in many films including Don 2, Luck By Chance,Sssshhh… among others.
