The two tied knot at heritage hotel, Borgo Finocchieto, in Tuscany. The wedding ceremony was very private, wherein only close friends were invited. Later this evening duo came out in public and posted a still from their wedding ceremony and confirmed their wedding on social media.

Anushka chose a velvet Sabyasachi’s saree for engagement ceremony. Her saree was hand-embroidered using miniature pearls and the finest quality zardosi and marori. She wore a stunning uncut diamond and pearl choker with matching studs from the Sabyasachi Heritage Jewelry collection. The entire look was complemented with kohl-rimmed eyes, red roses and our now iconic micro dot bindi.

Mehendi Look:
For her mehendi, Anushka wanted a boho look full of bright colors. As we know ‘hot pink’ is Anushka’s favotite, Sabyasachi created a graphic lehenga in fuchsia pink and Indian orange. It was hand-printed by the famed Calcutta block printers and hand-embroidered with gota and marori. Anushka accessorised herself with earrings from the Sabyasachi Heritage Jewelry collection, a stunning pair of jhumkas crafted in 22k gold with Iranian turquoise, tourmalines, uncut diamonds and Japanese cultured pearls. Custom juttis in hand woven brocade and zardosi completed the look.
Bridal Look:
For Anushka Sharma’s bridal attire, Sabyasachi Mukherjee chose a color that would blend with the whimsical Tuscan surrounding rather than stand out. Anushka’s lehenga was blush pink with tropical flora and fauna, hand-embroidered in silk floss. According to Sabyasachi, it took 67 karigars and 32 days to complete the ensemble. 
To complete her lehenga, beautiful jadau jewelry was handcrafted in uncut diamonds, pearls and pale pink spinel and baroque Japanese cultured pearls by the Sabyasachi Heritage Jewelry collection. 
There is something so ethereal about brides wearing fresh flowers in their hair! It is a crowning glory!
