OMG: Big B Turns Down Queen Elizabeth II’ Invitation
Believe it or not but Amitabh Bachchan will not be able to attend the reception of UK-India Year of Culture, which happens to be a “rare invitation” of which was sent to the megastar by Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh. As per reports, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan was invited by the royals for a special reception to launch the UK-India Year of Culture later this month. However, as per his publicist said in a statement: “Yes, Mr. A Bachchan has been given a rare invitation by Queen Elizabeth and Buckingham Palace to grace the UK-India Year Of Culture reception, but unfortunately due to prior commitments, he will be unable to attend.”
It seems that he is making news for denying the invitation from Queen Elizabeth II to being asked by the UP Chief Minister, Mr. Akhilesh Yadav not to promote the ads of donkey which was an indirect call to the Prime Minister. Currently, the actor is gearing up for the launch of “Sarkar 3” trailer, scheduled for the first week of March.
His upcoming projects include Ayan Mukerji’s tentatively titled “Dragon“, Kabir Khan’s production, “Thugs Of Hindostan” and “Aankhen 2“. So, as per the latest buzz, the mega star is not going to attend the important function at the UK, which has a rare invitation.
