OMG: Did Aarya Babbar’s PR oust Deepshikha from Bigg Boss?

We have always known that where there is controversy, there is Dale Bhagwagar. The Bollywood PR guru has handled the publicity for some of the most controversial names in the entertainment industry.

Everyone from Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Govinda, Shiney Ahuja, Vivek Oberoi, Big Brother winner Shilpa Shetty, to Bigg Boss contestants Rakhi Sawant, Kashmera Shah, Sambhavna Seth, Sherlyn Chopra, Pooja Misrra, Ashmit Patel, Vindu Dara Singh, Amar Upadhyay, Sonali Raut and Aarya Babbar have been his PR clients. But inspite of this, what the publicist posted of his Twitter recently, gave us our OMG moment of the week.

Dale’s post read, “Ok, my conscience needs to admit something. Last week, apart from using controversy to hype my PR clients Aarya (Babbar) and Sonali (Raut) in Bigg Boss, I sought help from some, to influence national Print, TV and Net media, including social media; to create an extra dose of buzz for Gautam (Gulati) and Pritam (Singh), who were nominated along with Deepshikha.” (sic)

It post went on to say, “Minissha (Lamba) was bad-mouthing Aarya to Deepshikha and the latter hid this from her ‘good friend’ Aarya. So I hoped Minissha’s support system would end, with a huge media push for rest of the nominated. Influencing more and more people to vote for the rest, seemed to me the most fair and natural option.” (sic)

When we asked Dale about the post, he tried to confuse us. “You guys over-estimate me. Do you think I can really do all that,” he said and laughed. Getting on a serious note, he remarked, “Who knows how much of a difference a few votes really make in the outcome of Bigg Boss nominations.”
