Ranveer Singh’s ‘Simmba’ is very much in news nowadays and earlier there were reports that either Janhvi Kapoor or Sara Ali Khan might play the lead female role in the movie. But now all the rumors are cleared. Now, as per the latest report, the female lead will be played by none other than Ranveer’s alleged girlfriend Deepika Padukone.
Rohit has approached Deepika to play the role opposite Ranveer Singh and the actress too has shown her interest to be a part of ‘Simmba’. In fact, Ranveer has asked Rohit to do so. Deepika was supposed to work with Irrfan Khan in Vishal Bharadwaj’s next but as Irrfan is unwell, the shoot for the movie is postponed and now Deepika is free and now she might be the part of the movie.
Ranveer will be playing the role of a cop named Sangram Bhalerao in ‘Simmba’. Directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Karan Johar, the movie is slated to release on 28th December. Karan released the poster on his Twitter account with the caption, “28th December 2018!! ROHIT SHETTY will be back!!!! RANVEER SINGH as #SIMMBA.”

Deepika and Ranveer have given many hits together and they share a very good chemistry on-screen as well as off-screen. Recently, they appeared in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmaavat’ and their stellar performances were very much appreciated by their fans as well as critics.
