Gajraj Rao’s career in the Bollywood industry spans for around 20 years but it was his role in the 2018 film ‘Badhaai Ho’ that gained him recognition and was an award-winning performance.
He set foot in Bollywood and debuted with the 1994 film ‘Bandit Queen’, since then he starred in projects like Dil Se.., Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Black Friday, Aamir, Blackmail, Talvar and so on.
Speaking about his journey in the entertainment industry, Rao Said, “I have seen a lot of difficulties, given the background I come from. I had a no-frill childhood. I didn’t have a lot of privileges. I have had a very basic life. My parents worked really hard to bring up their children. I come from that background.”
He mentioned the recognition as he expressed, “I have no complaint at all. The recognition I am getting now, definitely if I had gotten it 10 years ago I would’ve felt better about it. I have got it now, it’s still a good thing.”
Gajraj Rao will be seen in the recently released OTT film ‘Lootcase’ on Disney + Hotstar. It came out today i.e. 31st July 2020.
