When Neera’s brother Aneesh Bhanot was contacted about the same, he said, “I will not comment on this issue at this stage. All I can tell you is that we will not tolerate injustice.”
Being a women-centric film Neerja has grossed 125 crores gross in a worldwide scale. It starred Sonam Kapoor as Neerja, who was being specially mentioned for her performance in the 64th National Awards.
The statement further said that “Bhanot family has declined to accept the same and now wish to get a share of the studio profits.”
Overall, the matter is still not resolved and it is a sheer posibility that Bhanot family will go legaly about this issue.
