This is not all, Akshay even stated in an interview that medals are not enough, the martyrs family must be provided monetary support in a big way. In a report to DNA, Akshay Kumar issued Rs 5-10 Lakhs for every family and quoted saying, “A medal or an award is good but not enough. More needs to be done for them and their families. They need money too.”
Akshay Kumar must be credited for his efforts. We seriously needed such brave heroes in real life. We wish that more and more celebrities do come forward and support the families who lost their integral part of their life.
