Must Read: Rizwan Sikander has an usual connection with ‘Hichki’
Famous face of the former show ‘Roadies X2’, contestant and an actor Rizwan Sikander is once again in the news, for all the good reasons. He was a member of television actor Karan Kundra’s gang during his tenure in the show.
As we all know the film ‘Hichki’ has released today, he is in the conversation with us talking about the film and most importantly, Rani Mukerji. Let’s keep some suspense and know how Rizwan and Rani are connected. This actor is in awe of Rani, in praise of her for the film.
He received an acting certificate from Roshan Taneja’s Acting Academy in 2009. To this Rizwan said, he was ‘deeply moved’ by Rani’s presence at the occasion.
Talking about the film ‘Hichki’, he wished all the luck to Rani and the whole team of YRF. He said, “It’s a phenomenal subject that they have taken up and I wish them all the best for the film.”
Amid having a conversation with an entertainment portal, Sikander revealed his connection with the concept of the film, ‘Hichki’. You will be shocked to know that this talented person has suffered from Hichki from past seven years and this is the reason he can relate to the film. He has appreciated the concept and the idea behind it.
Talking about his former show ‘MTV Roadies X2’, he reminisced a funny incident which happened on the sets of the show. Talking about it, he said, “It happened when I was shooting for ‘Roadies X2’. During the intense situation in the elimination round we were shooting and it was 4:30 a.m. biting cold, everybody was dead tired & just before the announcement, I happened to get the hichki of life. Everyone including host Bani J and gang leaders Esha Deol, Vijendra Singh, Karan Kundra, Rannvijay Singha burst out laughing. Their faces are worth remembering. I didn’t know where to look for a second and later found myself along with other rolling on the floor with laughter.”
We all are aware that Rani Mukherji is a highly acclaimed actress and the proof is her huge lineup of amazing films. Talking about some of his favourite films that featured Mukherji, Sikander says, “Her laudable acting in Mardaani, Paheli, Yuva and Hey Ram is also appreciated by the audience and other movies like Black, Chalte Chalte, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega, Veer Zara are some of the films which are always in my fav movie list.”
Speaking of some of his favourite songs, Sikander says, “I can never stop myself from humming or tapping my feet on her songs, especially songs like Oh Hum Dum from film Saathiya and also the title track of the same film and Tauba Tumhare Yeh Ishaare from Chalte Chalte.”
Rizwan wishes to share the camera with her in future. He has recently lent his voice for a documentary film which will be released in July on the biggest digital platform in the world.
