The story of the film narrates the real-life tragic tale of a village farmer Sarbjit, who was falsely accused of spying and terrorism in Pakistan, served 23 years in Jail. Sister Dalbir, who nurtured Sarbjit more like a son, got heartbroken when she got to know about him. Since then, she did every possible thing to bring him back in India.
‘Sarbjit’ promotions is in full swing and for that the makers have visited a singing reality show. The whole star cast has joined the reality show along with the real life sister of Sarbjit. Emotionally moved by the Dalbir Kaur’s courage, the show’s judge, and Singer Mika Singh has promised to bear all the expenses of Sarbjit’s Daughter Poonam marriage.
Mika’s also told some in-depth story of Dalbir Kaur’s real life and salutes her courage for the 23-year long struggle. In the film Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is essaying the role of Dalbir Kaur and Randeep Hooda is essaying the Sarbjit character. The film is slated to hit the theaters on May 20.
