Deepika Padukone’s First Impression Of Ranveer Singh: He Is Not My Type!

Recently Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh appeared together at the  Hindustan Times Leadership Summit held in Delhi. They were the final speakers at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2018. The conversation started with Sonal Kalra- the managing editor of Hindustan Times straight forwardly asking Deepika and Ranveer about the marriage dates.

The witty Ranveer answered it saying, “You are seeing this everyday, including details about the colour of my sherwani and wedding gifts. But, when there is something, you will be the first to know.”

Ranveer Singh clearly douched the question so Sonal kalra passed the question to Deepika but rephrased it ‘was there a November wedding which is pushed to earlier next year?’ Deepika answered, “There have been many November weddings.” 

After talking at length about their respective journey in Bollywood, Sonal asked Deepika ‘What was the first impression of Ranveer as an actor‘, to which Deepika recalled a time where her then agent who was big fan of Ranveer work and told her Ranveer is the next big thing and has all the potential to be a superstar and her reaction was ‘Really?’

After a bit pause actress said that then she said in a more polite way. Ranveer interrupted her and said “No you said exactly like that with that expression.” She further added that “I said ‘He is not my type’.”

During a summit on fan demand, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone broke into dancing on Padmaavat’s famous track- Khalibali. Ranveer made her lady love dance until she finally admitted, “Baba, I can’t do this ya.’
