For us, Rishi Kapoor is the multi-talented actor who is dedicated and enthusiastic for each movie that he works for. In the 90s, when Bollywood was all about the 'masala' movies and the Khans were ruling the industry, all wasn't well for this 'lover-boy' of the tinsel town. As for now, the 64 year old actor rivals all the young actors working in the industry with his power-packed performances. Let us take a look at the splendid journey Of Rishi Kapoor from a 'lover-boy' to one of the most versatile actors in the industry : In 1973, with the movie Bobby, Rishi Kapoor charmed every woman with his innocent and chocolate boy looks. With the romantic role, came a huge female fan following as well. In 2016, Rishi Kapoor portrayed the role of the coolest grandfather ever, in the film, Kapoor and Sons. He donned the look of a 90-year-old and completely nailed it. Nobody could have pulled off the role on silver screen better than Rishi Kapoor. From, Bobby to Kapoor And Sons, Rishi Kapoor has evolved as an actor and a person and from the looks of it, we can say he is one of the most splendid actors we have in our industry today. His journey in the industry is truly inspiring and the actor we see now is known for his love for cinema and his unforgettable portrayals on the silver screen which weren't limited by age or criticism. With the title of the romantic hero of the industry, Rishi Kapoor continued to do the lover-boy roles for over two decades. Thereafter, we got to see Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor together on screen after ages, in the film Do Dooni Chaar in 2010, which was a simple film about a middle class family leading their lives and facing day-to-day problems as any common man does today. The film touched millions of hearts with the marvellous performances by the cast. After playing various virtuous roles on screen, who would have thought that Rishi Kapoor could a portray a villainous role as well ?! But he did it with such ease that he became the go-to villain of the industry. He brought the role of Rauf Lala alive on screen in Agneepath in 2012. This role of Rauf Lala was appreciated by the audience and praised by the critics as well. Well, Mr. Rishi Kapoor didn't want to leave any stone unturned and kept experimenting with the characters he played. That's why we got to see him as the exuberant principal in Student Of The Year in 2014. He played a homosexual professor who had a crush on the sports coach, played by Ronit Roy. We can't deny the fact that this was one of the best performances of Rishi Kapoor. After that, he went on to play the role of a gangster, a fictionalised Dawood Ibrahim in D-Day in 2013, which showcased the intimidatory side of Rishi Kapoor. With all the kind of roles he plays on screen, Rishi Kapoor is undoubtedly one of the extremely talented actors in the industry. No matter what kind of character he portrays on the silver screen, he aces all of them. Just like us, even he admits that he is enjoying his second innings in the Bollywood industry. Recently, the 64 year old versatile actor was felicitated at the BRICS Film Festival. Rishi Kapoor was felicitated at the opening ceremony of the 1st BRICS Film Festival by the Union Minister Of State for Information and Broadcasting, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathod and Minister of State for External Affairs, V.K. Singh for his family's contribution to the field of cinema. Whoa!
