Katy Perry KISSES A Teenager In American Idol, Reminds Us Of Papon Controversy

Do you remember Papon’s kissing controversy that happened last month? Papon was the judge of the popular singing reality show ‘The Voice Kids’ and in a video, the singer was seen kissing one of the minor contestants while applying colors on her face. It was during a Facebook live on the occasion of Holi. The complaint was filed by one of the advocates who found it inappropriate kissing a small girl forcefully. Though, later on, the girl and her parents came in support of the singer saying that it was not Papon’s intention to molest the girl.Now, one more in the league is international singer Katy Perry. It was during one of the auditions of American Idol, Katy called the 19th-year-old boy and then kissed him on his cheeks and then she kissed him on his lips. The contestant name is Benjamin Glaze and he told the Newyork Times that he was uncomfortable.

He said, “I was a tad bit uncomfortable. I wanted to save it for my first relationship. I wanted it to be special.”“Would I have done it if she said, ‘Would you kiss me?’ No, I would have said no. I know a lot of guys would be like, ‘Heck yeah!’ But for me, I was raised in a conservative family and I was uncomfortable immediately. I wanted my first kiss to be special.”

Many people slammed the singer for molesting the boy. While some called it sexual harassment, some made memes of Papon and Katy.
