Another film which did wonders in this category is Pink. Our trade expert had said that the film was made at a budget of Rs 25 cr and now it has already earned 56. 25 cr. The film is still running at the theatres. Clearly, this month proved that one needs to know how to budget their film for maximum gains.
It’s too early to judge MS Dhoni’s prospects at the box office as it has just released and is this month’s last film. But from what we have till now, we are pretty amazed. Pink is the only film which has worked brilliantly at the box office. It has earned above 50 crores already and is only getting bigger with every day. No other film could make it happen. So the genre that won this month is CONTENT. Nothing can get bigger than that and this film proved it. Despite getting toplined by Amitabh Bachchan, the success of the film went to the topic it addressed which was applause worthy.
