Kapil Sharma finally speaks up on depression, show getting off-air rumors
Comedy king Kapil Sharma has become one of the favourite child of controversy and rumors. Ever since his feud with his show’s co-actor Sunil Grover, he has remained in headlines mostly for the wrong reasons. Many stars complained about Sharma’s professional attitude and the recent happening was when Kapil made team of film ‘Mubarakan’ waiting for hours.
When it looked that things are getting better for Kapil Sharma, rumors about him being in depression due to falling TRP of his show surfaced. The Firangi star remained silent for a long time and didn’t utter a single word regarding these rumors. But, finally, Kapil answered all the related questions and cleared the air.
The stand-up comedian gave an interview to Dainik Bhaskar recently and said, “For the past few months, I was juggling my time between ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ and my film, Firangi. I was working day and night. I wasn’t getting much time to take care of my health. Also, I had stopped doing regular exercises and workouts. This led to developing low blood pressure. Now, I have changed my routine and my health is completely fine.”
It has been learnt that Sharma twice visited hospital for his low BP problem. Sharma’s health was the reason of him cancelling shoot of promotions of Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ and lately, making ‘Mubarkan’ team waiting.
Kapil also refuted the claims that the reason of his depression was low TRP of his show. He said, “It’s is just a big term for me (laughs). Apart from low blood pressure, I am not at all facing any health issues. I have started taking care of my diet and body. I am perfectly fine now.” Also, Sharma rubbished reports saying his show is going off-air soon and claimed that he keeps hearing these stories from media only.
