Kajol’s Shocking Controversies

Bollywood actress Kajol, who was last seen in the 2015 release ‘Dilwale’, is one talented actress, and there are no two opinions about it. But like ever another star, Kajol to has had her share of controversial outings that have put her in the limelight for wrong reasons. In 2015, during the Durga Puja celebrations with her family including Tanuja, Tanisha and cousin Shrabani, Kajol showed her middle finger to the media persons who were trying to take a bite from her. In an industry where two actresses cannot even share a vanity, Kajol did not mind sharing a sweater. Her photoshoot with veteran actress Rekha for the cover of a magazine set several tongues wagging. And why not? Kajol and Rekha slipped into the same sweater for the shoot and it stirred a controversy much to the dislike of the Indian audiences. Kajol was always known to be the dusky beauty of Bollywood. However, there were reports suggesting that the actress has undergone some skin lightening surgery before ‘Dilwale’. In an interview, she denied saying that she has just stayed out of the sun! For 10 years of her life, she was working all the time under the sun, which is why she got tanned, was the reason she came up with. These two Bollywood actresses are cousins by relation. But there was a time they maintained a safe distance from one another. The differences between the two came to the fore when Rani Mukerji didn’t invite Kajol and her family to her hush-hush wedding with Aditya Chopra. But at Arpita Khan’s wedding, the two met and seemed to iron out their differences. These two are known to be the thickest of friends in Bollywood. But there was a time when Kajol’s hubby Ajay Devgn had a showdown with Karan Johar over Johar’s alleged statements against Devgn. Sources revealed that KJo expected Kajol to sympathize with him and pacify Ajay. But Kajol stood by her husband and his stand. This left KJo shocked and hurt enough to leave cracks in their friendship. However, the two reconciled at an event and began their friendship anew. When Kajol’s sister Tanishaa Mukerji was a contestant on the reality show Bigg Boss house, reports suggested that Kajol and Ajay Devgn were not very pleased with the manner in which Tanishaa was conducting herself on national television. It was also said that Ajay had approached Bigg Boss host Salman Khan requesting him to arrange for Tanishaa’s eviction so that her affair with Armaan Kohli could be stopped. However, the sisters later came together at an awards show, putting their differences to rest. Kajol was once caught in the crossfire Ajay Devgn and Aditya Chopra. It was more professional than personal, but Kajol stood by her husband again. In an interview, she even said that Aditya, whom she had known for over 20 years, was ONCE a friend.
