Since long we are hearing that Mrunal Thakur will quit kumkum bhagyaaa. Well that was not a rumor, Its true. Kajol Srivastava replaced Mrunal in Kumkukm Bhagya.
It was also said that Mrunal would exit from the show as her character comes to an end. Bulbul would find out the truth and get to know Pragya is in danger. In an attempt to save her sister, she would meet with an accident! But now, there are reports that Mrunal will be replaced by Kajol Srivastava, who was seen in shows, Mooh Boli Shaadi and Badi Devrani.
According to a daily,Kajol shares her excitement,”I am excited about my role. Mrunal did a good job and yes, I feel the pressure as I step into her shoes.I will play the part my way and not imitate the former actress. It might be an existing character in the show, but for me, it’s a new character.”
It has to be noted that at the recent award ceremony – Zee Rishtey Awards 2015, the cast of Kumkum Bhagya had worn blue dress as it was their dress code, and seen together, but Mrunal was in a different coloured dress and was not seen with the Kumkum Bhagya gang!
Reason why mrunal decided to quit: Mrunal was upset over being sidelined on the show. Kumkum Bhagya in recent months has concentrated more on the track of Pragya (Sriti Jha) and Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) rather than Bulbul who was married off in the show. So, Mrunal decided to leave Kumkum Bhagya and may concentrate on other shows. Mrunal was also seen with her writer partner Sharad Tripathi on Nach Baliye 7. The couple was eliminated on the dance reality show.
Lets hope for the best. It is yet to be seen how will be kajol’s entry in the show. As all we saw is Aliya is on hyper mode and trying best possible things to kill bulbul. Will bulbul go through plastic surgery and that is how kajol will make her entry?
