Kaabil Distributors Approached Rakesh Roshan, Demanding Compensation Of Rs 15 Crores!
The early of 2017 saw a big clash at the screens on January 25, where Raees and Kaabil hit the theaters. We know that both the movies have crossed 100 crores and made good profits despite the clash. Recently, it was heard that Kaabil distributors approached the makers and asked for a compensation for Kaabil’s poor performance at the Box-Office.

Kaabil was made on a good budget of 50 crores and earned over 130 crores, which includes theatrical rights, music rights, satellite rights and Box-office collections. It means that the film has earned over 80 crores of profit and that’s why it is being considered as a super-hit film. If you are aware of that, Kaabil screen count was increased by 200 in the second weekend by the exhibitors, which clearly means that the movie was a good cash churner at the Box-Office. So this distributors compensation story looks more of like spread rumors.
Well, Filmmaker and Kaabil producer Rakesh Roshan confirmed the news that it is all cooked up the story. He said, “I have heard these rumors that have been done by some people who are not happy with the success of Kaabil, so the best is to ignore them and let them die their own death.”
