Veteran filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao made some sensational comments at the time of ‘Bruce Lee’ theatrical release. He went on to say, ‘Star Studded Films don’t need Festivals & Audience will celebrate their release as a Festival whenever they might be’.

Not just Ram Charan, Even NTR differs with this statement. When scribes quizzed him about the same issue, Junior had a hearty laugh at first and then shot back: ‘If that is true, Why Most of the Films of Star Heroes are releasing in Festival/Holiday seasons? Just because, Such Seasons play a key role.

Only few films like ‘Temper’ had released in unseason. Gone are the days of a film running for 200, 175, 100 & 50 days. Now, Films are able to survive only for 2 Weeks. The focus has been on how much a film collected rather than the No. of Days’.

NTR reminds big films like Nayak and Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu emerged as hit despite Box Office clash. He opines this Sankranthi season will bring good fortune to Industry if all the four films in race turn out to be money spinners.

Tarak asks why would he appear on ‘Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu’ game show when ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ is in Sankranthi race if he thinks only ‘Nannaku Prematho’ should do well at the Box Office.
