Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon completed six years yesterday and fans took to Twitter to congratulate the producer. Some fans even asked Gul Khan, the producer to change the casting specially the female protagonist. Gul got furious and bashed them saying, “@teamsarunleb are you high on something! Look at what you are saying! Sarun doesn’t belong to you! You did not create it! I’ve created it! You sound like you created something and we have stolen it! It’s so bizarre this whole logic! Even if I can’t create anything like Sarun! I will still be happy about it! I will do IPKKND as an when with whoever I please! You can live in your bizarre land!!!! #ipkkndwithnosarun (sic).”
As this is the new season, so Gul wanted a fresh face for the show and that’s why Sanaya got replaced by Shivani.
We loved the comeback of Barun Sobti and from the teaser, it is obvious that this time it will be more revengeful and intense than the previous one. To a leading newspaper, Barun said, “I have always wanted to work in a show that has good content. I am looking forward to the anti-hero role. I hope people don’t hate me. This will be a one-year-long show and I have been a fan of finite shows.”
