A couple of days back we were shocked to hear the news of actor Irrfan Khan suffering from a rare disease. We thought it as a promotional strategy for his upcoming movie ‘Blackmail’ but his tweet gave us a hint that he is really suffering from a disease which he didn’t reveal. Even before this Irrfan had to stop the shooting for his movie due to jaundice.
The media and public assumed and speculated that the actor is suffering from a life-threatening disease called Brain Cancer Glioblastoma Multiforme grade IV. Even reports claimed that he was admitted to Kokilaben Ambani hospital in Mumbai.
Later on, Trade Analyst Taran tweeted saying the news fake and malicious. He tweeted, “Although IrrfanKhan is unwell, all malicious news being spread about him and his condition since an hour or two are untrue. Likewise, all other horrendous news relating to his hospitalisation are fake. By God’s grace, Irrfan is in Delhi and that’s the only truth.”
Now, Irrfan’s wife Sutapa Sikdar took to her Facebook account to share her feelings and also thanked the well-wishers for supporting. She has also asked everyone not to further speculate on the matter.
