Even his minuscule appearances in the trailers of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil were getting him some really positive feedback. He was also in talks for some huge projects, one opposite Katrina Kaif in the lead, while there was another film that was to be produced by Salman Khan. There were even rumours that Salman Khan had talked to the MNS chief Raj Thackeray to withdraw the ban threat, but MNS denied such thing ever happened.
