Indeep Bakshi gets honoured with ‘Most Popular Singer amongst the youth’
Indeep Bakshi who has given Bollywood blockbusters ‘Saturday Saturday’ and ‘Kala Chashma’ has been felicitated with the ‘Most Popular Singer amongst the Youth’ at Dhamal Punjabi Music Awards powered by E24 and News 24 held at JW Marriott, Chandigarh on Wednesday. The award was presented by Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu, Punjab Cabinet Minister and Mr. GP Singh, MLA (Candidate of Congress) along with Anuradha Prasad, Editor-in-Chief of News 24 and CMD of B.A.G Network.
Indeep is now the most favorable singer amongst the youth, not only because of his songs but also because of his style and physique. Moreover, Indeep has now taken a step forward to be a youth icon by being the host/anchor and producer of a Reality show MTV’s Date To Remember. This show is again a youth based reality show wherein Indeep is sharing the stage with Manu Punjabi, Divya Agarwal and Nitibha Kaul.
Also among the singers present at the awards night were Harbhajan Mann, Wadali Brothers, Sukhbir, Kamaal Khan, Nooran Sisters, Navraj Hans, Ninja, Ikka, Shankar Sawhney, Dr. Jaspinder Narula and famous Punjabi actor Gurpreet Signh Gughi was also present to make the evening more entertaining.
On receiving the award Indeep said “It is a big honour to be awarded in front of all the singing legends sitting in-front of me. I would say I am not a singer but instead an entertainer who makes stress busters so that people can listen and dance on my songs. I would thank 106.4 Radio Dhamal , News 24 and E24 for honouring me with the youth icon: ‘Most Popular Singer amongst the Youth’ and giving me this opportunity to stand along with the singing sensations because of whom the Punjbai Music Industry has touched the sky.”
Indeep also showed his moves at the award show by performing Saturday Saturday and Kala Chashma live. On Wednesday Indeep also released his new song ‘Classy’ which is a remake of his own song ‘Lagti Tu Best’. The Song ‘Classy’ has already crossed 1M youtube views and is still going viral.
