Sonam Kapoor admits being ‘NERVOUS’ shooting with Anil Kapoor for EK Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga

Sonam Kapoor and Anil Kapoor are one of the most adorable father daughter duo Bollywood has! From being absolutely traditional to being absolutely cool, this duo shows the modern father-daughter relationship in every aspect! Well, on the Jhakkas actor, Anil Kapoor’s birthday, the father daughter duo had released the poster of the movie they are working in, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga! And now, the trailer of the movie is out and we must say that this father daughter duo deserves all the attention! Sonam Kapoor recently admitted being nervous while shooting with Anil Kapoor!

During her recent media interaction, when Sonam Kapoor was asked about her experience shooting with father Anil Kapoor and whether she was nervous, she said, ‘yes’ and added that, ‘he’s so energetic’. However, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga director Shelly Chopra, who was right next to Sonam Kapoor while she said this interrupted her and said, “But I must say, Sonam has passed with flying colours in this film.’

Talking about why she and Anil Kapoor specifically picked Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga for their father-daughter debut on screen, Sonam said that although there were many scripts that came their way in the past but this one instantly won over them. She says, how there’s a difference between making a ‘project’ and making a ‘film’ and she feels that none of the scripts that she heard before ELKDTAL had this kind of idealisim which they saw in ELKDTAL. Sonam also revealed how the day she heard the script, she knew it’s fit for her and Anil Kapoor and that nobody else could have done this film other than them. She in fact told Anil Kapoor that I have liked the script and if there’s any film that she wants to do with Anil Kapoor then it has to be this, following which Anil Kapoor too instantly read the script and said yes.
