Hundreds of People Took Over The Street of Mumbai To Bid Final Farewell To Their Favorite Star Sridevi. The legendary actress passed away on February 24th leaving her fans teary-eyed. The actress died due to accidental drowning in her hotel in Dubai. After a long wait of three days, her mortal remains were brought back to Mumbai on Tuesday night. On Wednesday, hundreds of fans from all across the country gathered in Mumbai to bid a final farewell to Bollywood’s first female superstar.
Such was the popularity of the actress, who ruled Indian cinema in the 80s. She has given so many memorable performances in her long film career. Her sudden death has sent fans and Bollywood stars in the state of shock. Yesterday, the entire Street of Mumbai was filled with people, who gathered around to get a glimpse of their beloved star one last time.

Sridevi was cremated with the state honors at Seva Samaj Crematorium in Vile Parle on Wednesday. Family and friends from the film fraternity attended her funeral.
Sridevi’s body was wrapped in tricolor and was honored with a gun salute.
