Bollywood wedding season is going in full swing. It is for the first time, we have been seeing so many B-Town stars getting married in just 7 days. It started with Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s big fat Punjabi wedding that took place on May 8 in Mumbai. After that, Neha Dhupia got married to her best friend Angad Bedi in a secret wedding in Delhi, followed by Shiv Pandit and Ameira Punvani’s wedding. Now, we hear that popular singer cum music director Himesh Reshammiya is all set to tie the knot with his long-time girlfriend Sonia Kapoor today evening.
According to the report, Himesh and Sonia will get married in a private ceremony today May 11 at his residence. The report further adds that the marriage will be attended by Himesh’s family and his son Swayam and some close friends of the couple.
However, no further details of the big secret wedding have been revealed as of yet. If few reports have anything to go by, a small mandap has been set up at Himesh’s residence, where they’ll tie the knot. The report further adds that their industry friends will attend a small party organized by the couple.
Himesh and Sonia have been dating for quite some time now. Himesh and his first wife Komal parted ways in June 2017 ending 22 years of marriage. According to some reports, their divorce was caused by Himesh’s liking for Sonia. It is also being said that both of them were dating for more than a decade. However, all these rumours were quashed by his ex-wife Komal saying that mutual incompatibility was the reason for their divorce.
