Shah Rukh Khan fans can rejoice as his latest movie Happy New Year has created history at the box office. The film which collected a mammoth 45 crores on Day 1 and 38 Crores on Day 2 had already collected approximately 83 crores in 2 days. On Sunday, the film saw packed houses with 95 percent to 100 percent occupancies, which meant that it crossed the 100 crore mark aroud 4 pm itself.
This means that the film collected 100 crores in just 2.5 days which is extraordinary! The movie is all set to cross the 200 crore mark by its 2nd weekend. More records are to follow! It is being estimated that Sunday will again be around the 40-43 cr margin taking the First Weekend total to 125 crores! WOW!
