Fans are going to get crazy after knowing this latest update from the Bollywood industry. The trailer of ‘Angrezi Medium’, which left the audience emotional and curious, has made the makers decide a new release date for the movie. Now, this anticipated movie is all set to hit the theatres a week earlier.
Revealing this news to social media, Karan Johar said that he has swapped the release date of his film ‘Gunjan Saxena’ with Dinesh Vijan’s ‘Angrezi Medium’.
Johar took to Twitter and posted, “Friendships in the fraternity are rare but when they exist …they are empowering! Dinoo and I have have made an exchange of dates! ANGREZI MEDIUM will come a week earlier on the GUNJAN SAXENA date 13th of March.2020 and GUNJAN SAXENA takes the ROOHI AFZA date 24th April 2020.”

Roohi Afzana, starring Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao is one of the most awaited flicks of the year. This film, which saw multiple title changes, will now receive a new release date as now Janhvi starrer ‘Gunjan Saxena’ will be seen hitting the theatres on 24th April 2020.
Well, after seeing a new release date of Angrezi Medium i.e. 13 March 2020 we bet fans would be much happy.
It is worth mentioning that Angrezi Medium is going to be Irrfan Khan’s first film after his cancer treatment. Irrfan Khan, who was last seen in the movie Hindi Medium was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor in March 2018. He flew to London in the same month for the treatment and returned to India in February 2019. During his visit to India, Irrfan shot for Angrezi Medium. Later, the actor again flew to London and continued his treatment.
