Freaky Ali Starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui Lands into A Controversy
Bollywood have always had their share of controversies, the film industry will be really blunt if there is no controversy or gossip. Each film released in the theaters is surrounded by controversies. Many people find the tinsel town quite boring when there are no controversies.
This Friday’s release Freaky Ali is now in the news for a negative point. It has created an issue in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut city, where a couple of organizations have objection on a scene present in the film.
The scene is part of the film and in it the lead actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is holding a golf ball in his mouth and on the front side of the ball Ali is written over it.
People making these allegations are stating that writing Ali on a ball is similar to insult of Hazrat Ali and they will meet the DM of Meerut to address the issue.
There are talks of going to the censor board for removing the scene from the film. The film is helmed by Salman Khan’s brother Sohail Khan and the actor also promoted the film to gain the attention of the masses. Amy Jackson and Arbaaz Khan are also there in the movie.
Freaky Ali is based on Happy Gilmore, a 1996 American comedy and is clashing with Nitya Mehra’s Baar Baar Dekho that is releasing on the same day with the movie.
