Don released in 2006, which is a remake of Amitabh Bachchan starrer Don 1978, was directed by Farhan Akhtar. The film was a blockbuster hit, thanks to the star cast Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra. Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, the film also starred Arjun Rampal, Boman Irani, Isha Koppikar, and Om Puri in titular roles.
