He also added , “We will have to see how the film opens on Friday. Saturday and Sunday will be critical for the movie because Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay will still be fighting it out with Rock On 2 also. I genuinely feel that the movie can open in the range of Rs 5-6 crore on day 1, which is not high but we just had two massive releases and this exhaustive nature of movies that we have now-a-days, can hamper the movie. If the film is good, it gets good reviews and people talk good things about the movie, then it can open with a Rs 5 crore collection on Friday, after which it can go up to Rs 6.50-7 crore on Saturday and a Rs 9-10 crore collection on Sunday. So we are looking at a collection of Rs 22 crore over the weekend. Then we need to know how the audience has taken to the movie, after which we will know about the fate of Rock On 2. And then we have these other two films (Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay) which will also be running and they are still not completely out of the running, even though they are in their third week. In fact, they are still steady, so screen spaces will be lesser too. Also, Chaar Sahibzaade 2 and Ishq Junoon are releasing this week too. So there will be a fight for the screen space, but its a great scenario for all of them.”
