And now, US President Donald Trump who is going to come to India on the 24th of February has taken out time and praised the Bollywood gay rom-com film, ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’. Trump also tweeted on Twitter posted by human rights campaigner and LGBTQ+ activist Peter Tatchell‘s social media post praising the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer.

As US media and media persons are speculating whether Trump’s tweet was a publicity stunt to impress India ahead of his visit to India. Peter Tatchell hoped that it was Trump’s genuine embrace of LGBTQ+ rights.
The film also features the ‘Badhai Ho’ pair of Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao. The film is written and directed by debutant Hitesh Kewalya.
