Disheartened: Ranveer Singh REJECTS Alia Bhatt’s Next With Sanjay Leela Bhansali
Recently, Ranveer Singh wrapped his upcoming film ’83,’ of Kabir Khan now preparing for Karan Johar’s Takht which will also star Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan amongst others. There are another project that Alia fans can’t wait to go on floors with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, which is being reported to be Gangubai.
The report says that Alia’s co-star Ranveer Singh was approached by director SLB for an important role in the project. But the actor has turned it down, and the actress is heartbroken.
“After their film with Salman Khan in the lead was rejected, Bhansali was quick to let out another one with Alia essaying the title role. Sanjay Leela Bhansali asked Ranveer to do an important cameo but the actor turned it down.
Meanwhile, it all started just before Inshallah was supposed to go on floors. However, as promised to Alia, SLB is working on a script which is being said to be the Gangubai biopic and soon, an announcement is expected.
