Disha Patani Says, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story will show Dhoni’s emotional side

Disha Patani is making her big debut with 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' alongside Sushant Singh Rajput. The movie will unravel Dhoni's life in an exciting and dramatic way. At latest, Disha Patani has opened a lot about her role in this film, where she is essaying the ex-flame of Dhoni, Priyanka Jha, who died in an accident in 2002. In an interview with Dailymail, Disha Patani uncovers many instances about the movie. She said, "The character is based on a real life person as narrated to Neeraj sir (filmmaker Neeraj Pandey) by Dhoni. "He never talks about his personal life, but the movie will show his emotional bonding with Priyanka when he was yet to achieve the status of a celebrity cricketer. It maps all the people who shaped his journey to became a prominent cricketer." Disha also added, "It is thrilling and at the same time unnerving to live up to audience expectation, since the movie narrates the life of one of the biggest cricketing icons." Talking about the other characters in the movie, Disha said, "Every character in the movie has been penned out as narrated by Dhoni. He never spoke about his life because he was too busy playing cricket for the country. His life and relationships have never been out for public discussion." When asked about Disha's own struggle in Bollywood, she asserted, "Showbiz is difficult for any newcomer. Those with prominent filmi-surname have their share of struggles too, as no one can take success for granted." Apart From Dhoni's Biopic, Disha is also sharing the screen space with international star Jackie Chan in 'Kung Fu Yoga'. When asked about this International project, Disha said, "It was awesome to work with Jackie Chan. It was a dream to work with Jackie Chan, who is one of the humblest and jovial stars I have known. There is a romantic angle between him and me, but, the movie is largely about comedy and action. Kung Fu Yoga is one of those movies which will aesthetically present India's beauty and history. It is different from other international movies, which harped on the poverty and dirtiness of India." Directed by Neeraj Pandey,'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' is all set to hit the theaters on September 30.
