Dil Se Movie Completes 18 Years: This Is What The Starcast Doing Now!

Bollywood flick 'Dil Se' is one of the most underrated films in the History of Cinema. The time when the movie was released in 1998, it didn't rake up the big money but it was critically well received. Although, over the years it turned into a cult film and now it is being critically praised from many cine experts. The film was set on the backdrop of violence and terrorism and builds up an intense plot from start to end. This movie starred Shah Rukh Khan, Manisha Koirala and debutant Preity Zinta as a supporting role. As the film has completed 18 years, so let us find out what the star cast of 'Dil Se' is up to now. 'Dil Se' star cast Then and Now: 1. Shah Rukh Khan (Amarkant Varma) Over the years, Shah Rukh Khan has become the king of Bollywood but this film is one of his special film in his repertoire. Currently, he has two projects in his kitty - 'Raees' and 'Dear Zindagi'. 2. Manisha Koirala (Meghna) Manisha has worked in some of the most epic films in the 90's decade and 'Dil Se' is one of such masterpiece. Her innocence and acting say it all and she had played a brilliant role in Mani Ratnam's 'Dil Se'. She will next be seen in ‘Dear Maya’. 3. Preity Zinta (Preeti Nair) She debuted with 'Dil Se' and still remains in the hearts of fans. She worked wonders as a film actress and recently got married to her long-time boyfriend Gene Goodenough. She will appear next in Sunny Deol starred ‘Bhaiyyaji Superhit’. 4. Malaika Arora (Train Dancer) Though the movie wasn't a hit at the Box-Office but the dance number 'Chaiyya Chaiyya' turned into a rage. Aditya Srivastava (Meghna’s brother) It was Aditya's early days in the cinematic world and really did justice to his role, where he played Manisha Koirala's brother. He is now famous for his role of CID Senior Inspector Abhijeet. He even did some path-breaking films like 'Satya', 'Gulaal', 'Black Friday' and unreleased 'Paanch'. 6. Mita Vasisht (Mita) Mita is a very popular name in the Television Industry and did a few memorable roles in the movies too. Mita's role in 'Dil Se' was one of her best. She is currently working in a TV serial ‘Kaala Teeka’ where she is essaying the role of 'Jethi Maa'. 7. Piyush Mishra (CBI officer) Though Piyush Mishra rose to fame only after 'Gangs Of Wasseypur' but he had also played an important role of CBI officer in 'Dil Se'. He is a multitalented personality and lately he essayed an important role in 'Happy Bhag Jayegi'.
