The extensive investigation of anti-drug agency, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has brought many big names under its radar even an ex-staffer Kshitij Prasad of one of the most prestigious film production banner under filmmaker Karan Johar, ‘Dharma Productions’. Kshitij Prasad was recently arrested by the NCB under drug charges following his interrogation as his name had cropped up in the alleged Bollywood drug nexus. Now, as per latest development, an NCB source has revealed that Kshitij had bought Ganja 12 times in 3 months.

The NCB source told that Kshitij was getting his Ganja delivered by Karamjeet outside his building in Andheri West, Mumbai and had paid Rs 3,500 each time for the 50 gm quantity, over the last 3 months. The source alleged, “Kshitij was provided ganja for more than a dozen times between May to July this year. He used to make a payment of Rs 3,500 for every delivery of 50 grams of ganja from Karamjeet.”

Meanwhile, the sources further revealed that the NCB had recovered a joint that is believed to be remains of smoked ganja from Kshitij’s home, during his house search. The NCB source in the report also alleged that during the interrogation of suspected drug peddler Ankush Arneja, who was nabbed by the anti-drug agency on September 12 had identified Sanket Hanuman Chand Patel as Kshitij’s drug supplier. Furthermore, Patel after his arrest had confessed that he used to supply ganja/weed to Arneja on Karamjeet’s instructions.

For the uninitiated, Kshitij Prasad has been granted judicial custody till October 3 by the court after his NCB arrest over drug charges. So far, the agency has arrested 20 people linked to the drug probe including Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, two of SSR’s staff members and 10 drug peddlers.
